Implementation takes 1-3 months, depending on the complexity of the port and the availability of data. Once OptiPort is live in your port, we will charge a fee per active asset per month.

Yes, OptiPort looks at wind and tidal effects in ports to provide our clients with the best possible forecasts. Not only in the expected number of required tugs, but also for the duration of a job, weather is taken into account. So you can be sure that the forecasts are correct!

Yes, for sure this is possible. OptiPort could be easily integrated with all of your existing IT infrastructure. We even developed a two way API for clients of Helm CONNECT. This allows Helm CONNECT clients to interface extremely easy with the OptiPort functionality, while still working in their own environment.

This is nothing uncommon and OptiPort can easily deal with that. OptiPort can plan for a required number of tugs, a required bollard pull and can also take care of the fact that some tugs are not suitable for certain vessel types. We have dealt with this before.

OptiPort has a module which tracks and traces the activities of all tugs (yours as well as your competitors’ active in the port). So as a result we are able to tell you which tugs are active, which jobs they are doing at the moment and which of your competing tugs could be in the best position to deal with your jobs in such way that it will benefit your business in the most effective way.

Our forecasting accuracy is high. The number of tugs is forecasted to be accurate 96-98% of the time, given weather and berth conditions. In terms of forecasting of the job duration we are 96% of the time less than 10 minutes away from the realized duration. We would like to challenge you to do this better!
